Residents rescued as neighborhoods in southern Brazil flooded

Lingering rain in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul continues to prompt rescue efforts as floods inundate towns and neighborhoods.

Aerial footage posted by the Brazilian military on Friday, May 3, shows severe flooding and crews rescuing several people from a roof.
