Powership ready for connection on May 8 – Nandlall

The Turkish energy ship that will provide assistance to the GPL will start its journey this morning to Everton on the Berbice River, where it will be connected to the electricity grid.

This was stated yesterday by Kesh Nandlall, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Guyana Power and Light (GPL).

The motor vessel arrived from Cuba on Wednesday and was moored on the Demerara River.
